A lot of people worry about what will happen to their spouse, partner, children and property if they die.  The thought of taking action and putting a Will in place is often more daunting than actually having the Will prepared.

As part of an overall Financial Plan Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney are a vital component.  At Legitimate Solutions Legal we can draft Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney for private clients and officers and employees of our corporate and government clients.  Feel free to call the office or complete the form below and we will contact you to discuss.

By preparing a Will you can ensure your family is provided for and your estate is divided according to your wishes.  Enduring Powers of Attorney allow a person to make decisions on your behalf in relation to property, medical treatment and personal arrangements if you are incapacitated.

Usually a person gives their estate to their spouse or partner, as long as the spouse or partner survives them for more than 30 days.  The spouse or partner is ordinarily the Executor of the Will.

If the spouse of partner does not survive the person making the Will then often the estate is left on trust for any children.  If there are no children, or the children do not survive the person, then the estate often passes to other beneficiaries, such as family or charities.  We can assist you determine the best approach for your specific situation.

We also assist Executors to apply for Probate to wind up the deceased estate.
