preparing a Will you can ensure your family is provided for and your estate is
divided according to your wishes. Enduring Powers of Attorney allow a
person to make decisions on your behalf in relation to property, medical
treatment and personal arrangements if you are incapacitated. Usually a
person gives their estate to their spouse or partner, as long as the spouse or
partner survives them for more than 30 days. The spouse or partner is
ordinarily the Executor of the Will. If the spouse of partner does not survive the person making the Will then often the estate is left on trust for any children.
