Giant June 2006

Following on from "Giant June 2005" and  "Dynamic December 2005" we had  "Giant June 2006".   We provided invaluable assistance to Clients, Agents, Brokers and other Advisors who wanted to meet their end of year targets and have matters settled by the end of the financial year or by Christmas.

Dynamic December

In the tradition of "Giant June 2005" our "Dynamic December 2005" was a great success.  We helped Clients, Agents, Brokers and other Advisors who wanted to meet their end of year targets and have matters settled by Christmas.

New Office

In a significant development Legitimate Solutions Legal has moved to new offices at Unit 7, Australian Surgeons' Building, 13 Napier Close, Deakin, ACT.

The new offices offers great facilities for clients and staff.  Significant improvements in the IT and communications systems will result in improved service for clients.

Deakin is a popular commercial centre especially for industry and professional associations and Embassies.  The new offices are just around the corner from the Mint.

Conveyancing Changes

Changes to the law effective from 1 July 2004 had a significant impact on the ACT property market.  Seller need to arrange Building, Pest and Compliance Reports before marketing their property.  We are advising clients on the impact of these changes.

Estate Planning Fits With Financial Plans

A number of our clients are rightly concerned about their financial future and are working with Financial Advisers to out in place Financial Plans.  Legitimate Solutions Legal is working with clients and their Financial Planners to ensure clients have Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney in place as an integrated component of their financial plans.

Aligning In-House Legal goals with Organisational Strategic goals

James King, Managing Director of Legitimate Solutions Legal conducted an interactive workshop in Sydney on Thursday 29 August 2002 .  The workshop was a success with participants committing to implement certain goals on return to their organisations.  Topics included:

·         What are the organisation’s strategic goals?

·         Linking the In-House Legal department’s outcomes to organisational strategy

·         Exploring possible tension between organisational and legal goals

·         Strategic organisational goals as priority projects

·         Arranging performance reports of how the department adds value listed by organisational rather then legal goals

Working with Government to improve professional service delivery

Legitimate Solutions recently finalised work with a statutory Commonwealth Government agency.  The agency market tested the provision of legal professional services and we worked with staff and external consultants.  The outcome was a success for the clients.

Business Qualification will assist clients

James King, Managing Director of Legitimate Solutions was admitted to the degree of Master of Business Administration (Executive) in April 2002.  The Australian Graduate School of Management conduct the course.

The AGSM is a combined school of the University of Sydney and the University of NSW .  The AGSM is ranked as the top Business School in Asia and Australia and highly ranked internationally.  James King is putting the skills and experience obtained in the MBA to work for clients.
